About Me
Sofia Hines is a Senior Research Analyst at Resources for the Future. Her current research focuses on climate adaptation, natural hazards, and environmental justice. Prior to joining RFF, Sofia was a Program Analyst at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a Research Assistant for the Coastal Resilience Center at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
Sofia earned her Master of Public Policy from UNC, where her capstone analyzed the designation methodology and sociodemographic characteristics of FEMA’s Community Disaster Resilience Zones. She has a BA in Public Policy from UNC.
